Libretto II.
(CD Player)

Fifteen years of experience since the birth of the original Libretto, along with the ongoing format wars in musical media (DSD, DXD, MQA, and other buzzwords), inspired us to continue:

Libretto II.

Its foundation is a solid wooden frame structure, whose vibrations are closer to the natural sound of music than a metal casing. The suspension of the drive mechanism is tuned similarly to musical instruments using a mahogany resonator. Instead of the commonly used and familiar DVD mechanism, we use the unique industrial version of the Philips CD Pro2.
The power supply is also special, utilizing the most advanced battery technology, with individual circuits powered by separate cells. Its built-in digital-to-analog converter (DAC) features a true multi-bit R2R structure and can accept external digital signals up to 24 bit/192 kHz (excluding 176.4 kHz).
The primary goal in creating this player was to allow instrumental music and the human voice to sound as naturally as possible, providing a listening experience similar to a live performance, while capturing its emotional and atmospheric essence.

The Libretto II. was also featured at the High-End Show in Munich in 2022.
